Lucille Alfano is a full-time mediator and arbitrator. She is the sole proprietor of Mediator Services, LLC. Matters of mediation include contract and employment; discipline and termination; civil rights; discrimination and harassment; professional malpractice; wrongful discharge; construction; contract/commercial transaction; contract/insurance; and service of contract. She serves on the New Jersey Superior Court Civil Mediator Roster – Rule 1:40; Public Employment Relations Commission Ad Hoc Mediator Roster; and also served on American Arbitration Association New York and New Jersey Storm Sandy Mediator Rosters. She is a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators wherein she is the co-chairperson of the Labor and Employment Committee and a member of the NJAPM Ethics Review Board. Mediation certificates include NJ Administrative Office of the Courts; Accredited Professional Mediator (NJAPM ); and Center for Conflict Dynamics Mediators
As an arbitrator Ms. Alfano serves on the arbitration panels of the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission; New Jersey State Board of Mediation; and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Matters of arbitration include workplace/employee issues; salary and benefit payment matters; discipline issues: and contract/law/statute issues. She is the President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association and serves on the Board of Directors. Lucille maintains a Higginbotham Fellowship with the American Arbitration Association.
Ms. Alfano holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees from Monmouth University. Speaking engagements on the topic of Alternative Dispute Resolution include NJAPM symposium; undergraduate/graduate classes at Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations and the Association of Conflict Resolution Annual Conference . Prior to her career as a neutral, Ms. Alfano was the President of an Urban New Jersey Education Association for twenty (20) years. She served as chief negotiator and litigator for all matters related to terms and conditions of employment and personnel issues; and conducted numerous workshops and training on topics of leadership, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
