Welcome to LERA NJ Chapter!

The New Jersey Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) is a unique organization of professionals from New Jersey and neighboring states who are interested in employment relations and human resource management. The chapter includes members from management, labor, the neutral field (including arbitrators and mediators), government, and academia.

Meetings

The New Jersey Chapter holds several meetings a year. NJLERA will hold most of its meetings in central New Jersey, where members listen to distinguished speakers and share their knowledge and experience. Dinner meetings usually begin at 5:30 PM, and Zoom meetings start at noon.  

Membership

Membership is open to individuals working in the field of labor employment relations and costs $49 annually.

The New Jersey Chapter is affiliated with the Labor and Employment Relations Association (formerly the Industrial Relations Research Association), which sponsors national meetings for practitioners and academics and publishes books, conference proceedings, and periodicals that are designed for a wide audience.

Affiliated with National LERA (formerly IRRA) since 1977.
